About
OpsEdge is written by Ray Ledger, who has spent close to two decades in warehouses, purchasing offices and data-center logistics in Arizona and Wisconsin.
The idea here is simple: most of the frustrating parts of operations work can be fixed with a spreadsheet, a small automation, or a tool that already exists and nobody told you about. This site documents those fixes as they get built and tested in real use, not in theory.
Expect posts on:
- Automating the boring parts of a job search and an inbox
- Spreadsheet templates for inventory, receiving, KPI tracking and cycle counts
- Self-hosting useful tools on free or nearly free servers
- What actually happens on a warehouse floor versus what the ERP thinks happens
Ready-made templates live in the OpsEdge Tools shop.
Disclosure: some links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through them, OpsEdge may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Only tools in actual use here get linked.
